Market reference range · actual price per quotation · Market estimates, not yet derived from completed jobs · last reviewed July 2026

The real price comes from the technician’s quotation, priced from the photos and details you send on LINE rather than from a visit first. You confirm that price, and only then is the visit arranged.

A visit costs 500 baht when the technician comes from your own province and 2,000 baht from another one. It is counted inside the quote’s single total rather than billed separately, and it is not refunded if you look and decide against the repair.

  • Size and material chosen — vinyl is cheapest, acrylic sits in the middle, and stainless steel or custom-shaped signage costs more
  • Whether the sign is internally lit and needs new wiring run to it — a lightbox sign needs LED strips, a control unit and a wiring run that a plain vinyl panel doesn't
  • Mounting height and whether a lift or scaffolding is needed — a sign mounted high on a building costs more in equipment and safety measures than one at street level
  • How complex the design and lettering is — raised lettering or a custom-cut shape takes longer to produce than a plain printed rectangle

A vinyl sign with frame runs 250–450 baht per square metre; an LED acrylic lightbox sign runs 1,800–3,500 baht per square metre. The biggest factor by far is whether the sign is lit from within, which adds LED, wiring and a control unit on top of a plain printed panel.

How to spend less

  • Choose a vinyl sign over a lightbox if constant illumination isn't essential — it saves on both the upfront material cost and the electricity bill over time
  • If the lightbox is flickering or a section has gone dark, ask for a spot repair on just the LED strip rather than replacing the whole sign — much cheaper if the frame and acrylic panel are still in good condition
  • Have your wording and desired size ready and confirmed before the first quote — fewer design revisions means faster production

Frequently asked questions

Am I being charged a foreigner price for this?

The ranges here are the same market reference regardless of who's asking. What actually protects you is that the technician confirms the price for your exact size, material and design over LINE, in writing, before production starts — compare it against this page and question anything that doesn't fit.

Do I need permission from the district or municipal office to put up a sign?

Large signs, or ones that project out from the building, often need a permit in some areas — that's the shop owner's own responsibility to file. The team can provide the sign's dimensions and design to support your application, but doesn't file it on your behalf.

My lightbox is flickering in one spot — do I need a whole new sign?

Not usually. Most of the time it's just the LED strip that's failed, which is repaired or replaced at a fraction of the cost of a new sign. A full replacement is only needed if the frame or acrylic panel itself is actually damaged.

Why is a lightbox sign so much more expensive than a vinyl one?

A lightbox needs an acrylic frame, LED strips, a control unit and wiring on top of what a vinyl panel needs — it's a materially different build, not a markup on the same product.
