The real price comes from the technician’s quotation, priced from the photos and details you send on LINE rather than from a visit first. You confirm that price, and only then is the visit arranged.
A visit costs 500 baht when the technician comes from your own province and 2,000 baht from another one. It is counted inside the quote’s single total rather than billed separately, and it is not refunded if you look and decide against the repair.

Frequently asked questions
A tile sounds hollow when I step on it — is that a problem?
It means the mortar bed underneath has started coming loose. Left alone, the tile can crack or lift, so it's worth fixing the hollow spot before it spreads to the tiles around it.
Can new wood flooring go straight over the existing tile?
Yes, if the existing floor is flat with no hollow spots. If it isn't flat enough, it needs levelling first — otherwise the new floor picks up the same unevenness.
Renovating a condo floor — does building management need to know?
Most condo buildings have their own rules on renovation hours, noise and contractor registration. It's worth checking with building management before work starts rather than getting stopped partway through for not having registered.
Does the price shown include the tile itself?
No — it's labour only. You can source the tile or flooring material yourself, or ask the technician to help source it.
